Disney 14-Day Magic Ticket with Memory Maker
The standard long Disney ticket: park days across the four Walt Disney World theme parks with hopping, a water park, and Memory Maker photos on adult tickets.
A guide to the Orlando theme park ticket bundles worth buying – Disney, Universal, Epic Universe and SeaWorld; and which one fits the length of your trip.
Orlando ticket pricing is designed to be confusing. Multi-day bundles get dramatically cheaper per day as the day count rises, which makes the long tickets look like obvious value, right up until you realise a fortnight of theme parks is physically punishing and your family will want days by the pool.
Attraction Tickets sells UK-facing bundles across the Disney parks, the Universal resort including Epic Universe, and the SeaWorld group. This guide covers the six worth considering, what each actually includes, and the specific traps: seasonal park closures, validity windows and arrival-date restrictions; that catch people out.

Three reasons pre-booked multi-day tickets beat paying at the gate.
Orlando’s pricing structure rewards length aggressively. The marginal cost of each additional park day on a long ticket is a fraction of a single-day gate price, which is why a 14-day ticket does not cost anything like fourteen times a one-day one. For a two-week holiday this is the single largest saving available on the trip.
Buying ahead means arriving with tickets on your phone, linked to your park app, ready to make reservations. Orlando’s reservation and virtual queue systems reward people who are organised on day one, and standing at a ticket window in Florida heat is a poor use of a holiday morning.
Several of these tickets fold in things you would otherwise buy separately: unlimited ride photos, water park access, park hopping between multiple parks in one day. Bought individually these add up substantially, and having them included changes how you use the parks rather than rationing them.
How to choose an Orlando ticket without over-buying.
Almost everyone over-estimates. Orlando parks are physically exhausting and most families need rest days, pool days and a shopping day. Work out how many days you will realistically spend in parks, then be honest that a couple of them will not happen. Long tickets are cheap per day, so there is still an argument for buying length — but buy it knowing it is insurance against a good day, not a schedule you must complete.
These tickets separate park days from validity. A fourteen-day ticket typically allows those park days to be used across a slightly longer window from a start date you select when booking, which gives useful breathing room – but the window is finite and the start date matters. Some bundles are also sold against specific arrival windows, so a ticket priced for one season is not valid in another. Read both dates before buying.
This is the trap that catches the most people. Orlando’s water parks close for refurbishment through the cooler months on a rotating basis, and Universal Volcano Bay has a scheduled seasonal closure running through the winter. Tickets sold for winter arrival windows are sometimes substituted with a reduced park list as a result. If a water park is a reason you are buying a particular bundle, confirm it is open on your dates.
Most of these bundles include the ability to move between parks within a single day rather than committing to one. At Disney that means hopping between Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom; at Universal it means park-to-park access across the resort.
It actually changes how you use the parks: a morning at one and an evening at another is a more pleasant day than eight hours in the same place. It does require transport time between parks, though, so two parks in a day means less of each. Some parks also operate reservation or virtual queue systems that apply regardless of your ticket.
Several Orlando bundles are sold against defined arrival windows rather than being valid year round. A ticket marketed for autumn and winter arrivals may include a different set of parks from the summer equivalent, specifically because of water park closures.
Universal Volcano Bay in particular has a scheduled seasonal closure through the winter months, and winter-arrival tickets have been sold with a three-park list in its place. Check which parks your specific ticket covers for your specific dates – the product name alone does not tell you.
Ranked by how well each one delivers on what it promises; not by price.

For a two-week Orlando holiday this is the default, and it is the default for good reasons.
This is the ticket most UK families end up buying, and the structure explains why. You get park days across Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom with the ability to hop between them within a single day, plus admission to whichever of Disney’s Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon water parks is open. Adult tickets include Memory Maker, which covers unlimited downloads of the PhotoPass photos taken of you in the parks, something that costs a meaningful sum bought separately. ESPN Wide World of Sports on event days and Oak Trail golf green fees are listed inclusions too.
The park days are used across a validity window that runs slightly longer than the day count from a start date you choose at booking, which is useful because it builds in rest days. The caveats are practical: Memory Maker must be claimed through the My Disney Experience app and its window is tied to the ticket’s usage window, so claim it before you travel. Only one water park is included, whichever is operating. And Disney’s own reservation and planning systems apply regardless of which ticket you hold, so buying this does not remove the need to plan days properly in advance.

The only Universal ticket that treats Epic Universe as a park you can return to rather than a single day out.
This is the complete Universal ticket and the one to buy if the resort is the main event. It gives unlimited park-to-park access across Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, Universal Epic Universe and the Volcano Bay water park across a long validity window of up to a fortnight. The crucial distinction from the cheaper Universal bundles is that Epic Universe is included on the same unlimited basis as the others rather than as a single allocated day, which matters enormously, because a new park of that size is not seen properly in one visit and the Hogwarts Express link between Studios and Islands of Adventure requires park-to-park access anyway.
The price reflects that completeness, so if Epic Universe is a one-visit curiosity for you rather than a priority, the cheaper bundles will serve. The bigger practical issue is Volcano Bay’s scheduled seasonal closure through the winter months, which means tickets covering winter arrival dates may not deliver the water park you are paying for — Universal has substituted a reduced three-park ticket for some winter arrival windows as a result. Parking is not included on these tickets, and the admission media is non-transferable and must be used by the same person throughout. Check the park list against your specific dates.

Doing both resorts properly is the classic Orlando mistake, this ticket at least makes it affordable.
Plenty of families want to do both resorts and buying two separate multi-day tickets is expensive. This combo bundles them: Disney park access with a water park included, plus park-to-park movement across the Universal parks over a fortnight-long window from the start date, with Epic Universe included in the park allowance. On the Disney side the water park element covers Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon, whichever is open. For a longer holiday where you intend to split your time, it is substantially cheaper than two standalone tickets and it removes the decision of which resort to commit to.
The honest warning is that two resorts in one holiday is a lot. Disney and Universal are not close together, each has its own app, reservation system and transport, and splitting your days means doing neither thoroughly, most people come back saying they rushed. Read the structure carefully too: this bundle allocates Epic Universe within the park-visit allowance rather than giving it unlimited access, which is a different proposition from the full Universal ticket. Cancellation and amendment terms on combination products are often stricter, so check them before committing.

A single Epic Universe day is enough to see it – just not enough to see it properly.
This is the sensible middle option in Universal’s range. You get unlimited park-to-park access to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure and the Volcano Bay water park for up to a fortnight, plus one full day at Epic Universe. For most visitors that is the right balance: the two original parks are where you will spend the bulk of your time, the Hogwarts Express link between them needs park-to-park access, and one day gives you a proper look at the new park without paying for unlimited access you would not use.
The Epic Universe allocation is a single day, not unlimited, and that is the deciding factor. Epic Universe is a large park and one day means choosing what to skip, so if it is a major reason for the trip the full All Parks ticket is the better buy despite the cost. Volcano Bay’s winter closure applies here as it does across the Universal range, and for arrival windows in the cooler months this product has been substituted with a three-park version excluding the water park. Parking is not included, and the ticket must be used by the same person throughout.

Busch Gardens Tampa alone justifies this ticket if anyone in the party likes serious roller coasters.
This is the ticket for people who have done Disney and Universal and want something different, or who are in Orlando long enough to need variety. It provides three single-day admissions, one park per admission, chosen in any combination from SeaWorld Orlando, the Aquatica water park, Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and Adventure Island. The flexibility is the appeal: three days at three different parks, or a repeat visit, as you prefer. Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is the standout inclusion, with a roller coaster line-up that holds its own against anything in Orlando, and it is a notably less crowded day out.
The geography is the main catch. Busch Gardens and Adventure Island are in Tampa, well over an hour’s drive from the Orlando parks, so including them means committing a full day to the round trip and having a car. Adventure Island is seasonal and operates roughly March to October only, so winter visitors effectively have three parks to choose from rather than four. The admissions are single-day rather than unlimited, so no park hopping. Cancellation terms on this product have been published as free well in advance but fully chargeable close to departure, so check before booking.

If you are visiting when Volcano Bay is shut, this is the ticket that stops you paying for a closed park.
This is the practical answer to Volcano Bay’s seasonal closure. It covers the Universal theme parks without the water park, and it is sold against defined arrival windows: listings have been marked for autumn and winter arrivals specifically because that is when the water park is shut. If you are travelling in the cooler months, this is what you should be buying rather than an all-parks ticket whose headline inclusion you cannot use. It is also the right choice for anyone who simply has no interest in a water park, which is a reasonable position in January and not unusual with older children.
The restriction is the arrival window. These tickets are not valid year round, so a ticket priced for a winter arrival cannot be used in summer, and you need to check your arrival date falls inside the window before buying. Because the product exists specifically to work around a closure, exactly which three parks it covers has varied between seasons and listings, confirm the park list for your dates rather than inferring it from the name. And if there is any chance of warm weather and a water park day, the all-parks version is worth the difference.

For most families, yes. The cost per park day is low enough that even using ten or eleven of the days works out well against shorter tickets, and the park days are usable across a validity window that allows rest days.
If you are only planning four or five park days, a shorter ticket will be better value – do not buy length you will not touch.
Memory Maker gives unlimited downloads of the photos Disney PhotoPass photographers take of you in the parks. Attraction Tickets includes it on adult Disney Magic Tickets, and it has to be claimed through the My Disney Experience app before you travel.
It depends on the bundle. Some Universal tickets include unlimited access to Epic Universe alongside the other parks; others include the main parks with unlimited access plus a single day at Epic Universe. Read which model your ticket uses before buying.
Orlando ticket pricing is built to tempt you into more days than you will use. Count your realistic park days, check the validity window and the park list for your dates, and buy the bundle that matches that rather than the one with the best headline per-day figure.
